Real talk: If you don’t associate coffee with going to the bathroom then you’re just lying. And it’s that exact sentiment that drove this campaign all the way to the New York Times. Since the advent of social media, we are all now so aware of the most trivial ‘holidays’ ever invented—did you even know there was a National Coffee Day? Do we need a National Coffee Day? No. Definitely not. But we have one so we set out to have fun with it. To match the ridiculousness of this ‘holiday’ we crafted a LONG COPY print ad (isn’t copy great?) and had it hand lettered by none other than the best in the biz, ILOVEDUST.
